This policy explains how Señor Fish (“we,” “us”) collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit our website, order online for pickup or delivery, or join our rewards program. Our two restaurants are at 618 Mission St, South Pasadena, CA 91030 and 4803 Eagle Rock Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90041.
Information we collect
In the last 12 months we have collected these categories of personal information:
- Identifiers: name, email address, phone number and delivery address, when you place an order, join rewards or contact us.
- Commercial information: items ordered, order history and pickup or delivery preferences.
- Payment information: entered with our payment processor or wallet provider. We do not store full card numbers on this website.
- Internet activity: pages viewed, device and browser type, and approximate location, collected through analytics.
- Rewards information: points, offers redeemed and your marketing choices, if you join rewards.
Where it comes from
From you directly, from our online ordering platform, from delivery partners when you order through them, and automatically from your browser through analytics.
How we use it
- Prepare, fulfill and support your orders, including pickup and delivery.
- Process payments and prevent fraud.
- Run the rewards program and, only if you opt in, send promotional emails or texts.
- Understand how the website is used and improve it.
- Meet legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We share personal information with service providers that act for us: Pontún (online ordering platform), Clover and Valor Pay and Apple Pay (payments), and Yelp. If you order through DoorDash, Uber Eats or Grubhub, that company receives your information under its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information when required by law.
We do not sell or share your information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not done so in the past 12 months.
Cookies, analytics and third-party content
We use analytics to measure traffic. We do not use advertising or tracking pixels on this website. If you send a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of sale and sharing, although we do not sell or share. We do not respond differently to Do Not Track signals. The website loads fonts from Google Fonts and embeds Google Maps, which may collect your IP address and are governed by Google’s policies. The ordering portal may use its own cookies; see Pontún’s privacy policy.
Rewards program and financial incentive notice
If you join our rewards program, we collect your name, contact details and order history to provide points and offers. Joining is optional. The value of your information to us is related to the value of the rewards we offer, and you may withdraw at any time by contacting us. Rewards are provided through Pontún Rewards.
Promotional emails and texts are sent only if you opt in. Every email has an unsubscribe link, you can reply STOP to any text, or you can contact us at the details below.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to delete it; to correct inaccurate information; to opt out of sale or sharing; to limit use of sensitive information; and to not be discriminated against for using these rights.
To make a request, email senorfish@vanirbm.com or call (323) 257-7167. We will verify your identity by matching details you give us to our records. An authorized agent may submit a request for you with your written permission. We respond within 45 days, and may extend once by another 45 days with notice.
Under California’s Shine the Light law (Civil Code 1798.83), residents may ask which categories of personal information we disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not make such disclosures.
Retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. We use reasonable safeguards, but no system is completely secure. Retention period for order and rewards records: 3 years.
Children
Our website is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We will post updates on this page with a new effective date and review this policy at least once a year.
